06.01.2012 (culture) The twenties of the 20th century, especially in the USA and the UK, were famous for new and exciting developments in fashion, music and art. For this reason the twenties were given a special name. What name was it? It was called Roaring Twenties. Ania Naglik got the correct answer first (25), Pola Slesarow second (15) and Ola Gwiazda third. Besides, good answers came from: Ania Gasztych and Kamila Filończyk. That was the last the last question in the passing first term of the school year. Look out now, beecause you don't know how soon the second term in QUIZZES will start! 29.12.2011 Half way through the year. The third series has finished, half of the short test have been written. Tired, yearning for some Christmas rest, students done rathere poorly in the series, what can be seen in the top ten results – only three A marks. Let’s hope for a better future in 2012! It will cosist of two parts: the idioms and proverbs quiz and the creative writing part. If you want to take part in the contest, you have to download the list of the idioms and provebs published here, get their meanings, find Polish versions and LEARN THE BY HEART. The quiz is ON MONDAY AFTER THE WINTER BREAK (a month to go). 24.12.2011 Wiktoria tyczyńska is THE BEST GRAMMARIAN 2011!. THE DEADLINE IS 30 MARCH 2012 10.12.2011 On Monday ten students are taking the final test of THE BEST GRAMMARIAN 2001. The test is going to include the grammatical and lexical issues. 20.11.2011 The second series of short tests has been dominated with the students of class two – good job!.
